I’m turning 50 this year and wanted to mark the occasion with something different, adventurous and completely out my comfort zone!! I also wanted to do something worthwhile for charity. I’m lucky to have known comedian Rhod Gilbert for many years so I was obviously really concerned when I heard he had been diagnosed with cancer.I followed his treatment journey at the Velindre Cancer Centre so when I found out that Rhod was leading this expedition in Morocco climbing Mount Toubkal in the High Atlas Mountains to raise money for the centre, I felt like this was the perfect fit for my 50th.Not only raising vital funds for the charity to continue the amazing work they do and the life saving treatments they give - I get to achieve a personal goal too by climbing a massive mountain!!Thank you for donating to this amazing cause!
